The water sports of Lord Jagannath jew.

Today is Bhaunri Yatra of Lord Jagannath jee. This is water sports or navigation ceremony of lord Jagannath.

The same festival commences from Akhaya Tritiya for 21 days which is ethically known as outer summer ceremony. Similarly inner summer ceremony for another 21 days are celebrated inside the Lord Jagannath temple.

For 21 days Lord Madan Mohan, Sridevi, Bhudevi, Ram, Krishna, Panchu pandavs come to auspicious narendra pond to complete navigation and bathing. This is summer recreations of the dieties. Special prasadam locally called "Mandua Bhog " holds at there.

On the 21th day the event is locally called Bhaunri yatra. Dieties makes 21 rounds with their boats. Two boats are used one is red color boat other one is white color boat. Locally people calls the festival as Chandan Yatra.

Myth believes the person who sees three festivals in a year gets salvation. These three are Holi, Chandan and Chariot festival.
